DESCRIPTION:Get your pet microchipped for $10 (normally $16) just in time for 4th of July! Pets can show unpredictable behavior when frightened by fireworks\, and the natural instinct for a scared animal is to run. This means many pets become lost over Independence Day festivities. Should the worst happen and your pet escapes\, having proper identification makes it much easier to reunite them with you. YHS highly encourages the use of microchips. Yavapai Humane Society is offering $10 microchips with the first 20 microchips FREE on June 30 from 8:00-11:00 am and 1:00-4:00 pm at its Spay/Neuter and Wellness Clinic (2989 Centerpointe East Drive\, Prescott\, Ariz. 86301). No appointment is required and no visit fee is charged. Owners must\, however\, individually register their pet's microchip with the microchip company and this fee is not included in the $10 special.
