DESCRIPTION:YHS is hosting a Dog Days of Summer and Cool Cat Nights pick your price adoption special. This special is valid Friday\, August 28\, through Sunday\, August 30\, from 11 am to 6 pm at the YHS Adoption Center (1625 Sundog Ranch Road\, Prescott\, Ariz.). YHS is also extending the offer to cat adoptions at its satellite adoption center at the Prescott PetSmart store (277 Walker Road\, Prescott\, Ariz.). All YHS pets are spayed or neutered\, micro-chipped\, vaccinated\, de-wormed and current on flea and tick preventative care (as needed). Every animal adopted at YHS is also eligible for one free introductory wellness exam with a local veterinarian of the adopter?s choice. All adopters must still adhere to YHS adoption policies and speak with an adoption counselor prior to taking home their new best friend. No animal holds will be taken during the ?Dog Days of Summer and Cool Cat Nights? adoption event. YHS recommends adopters to arrive early\, bring a copy of their lease agreement (if renting)\, and to bring the whole family including children and resident dog to complete a ?meet and greet? with their prospective new pet. YHS adoptable pets can be viewed online at www.yavapaihumane.org/adopt. Adopters are encouraged to call the YHS Adoption Center at 928-445-2666 with any questions. *Excludes animals under 6 months and purebred dogs. Cat testing fees may apply.
