DESCRIPTION:Join us at the Yavapai Humane Society for a ?paw?some day as we kick off the 4th Annual Walk for the Animals. Walkers will be able to register for a special Kick Off Party only price of $25 and take home a goodie bag full of treats for the two and four legged. People signing up for the Walk at the Kick-Off Party will get a chance to register for wonderful door prizes including a basket full of YHS gear. The Kick-Off Party is Saturday\, March 21 from 11am-2pm\, at the YHS Pet Adoption Center\, 1625 Sundog Ranch Road\, in Prescott. The Walk for the Animals will be Saturday\, May 16\, at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott. Hundreds of people - and their pooches - are expected to walk the 1-mile or 5-K course at the Walk for the Animals\, one of the region?s premier pet lover?s events. The event features a ?Barketplace? of vendor booths\, an animal wellness tent with low-cost vaccinations and microchips\, music\, food and a ?Strut Your Mutt? contest. Day of Walk registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. with opening howl for the 5K starting at 8:00 a.m.
