FROM CAPELLA TO PIAZZA CONCERT

Choral Music of the Italian Renaissance Music of the Italian Renaissance, both sacred and secular, will be presented in this performance by the Renaissance Singers of Yavapai College. From Palestrina?s Missa Brevis to the madrigals of Arcadelt and de Rore, an intriguing mix of known and not-so-well known works make up this fascinating program. There?s more to 16th century Italian art than Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci. Come hear the art of these Italian masters performed by a small a capella choir in a church setting.
