National Night Out
Chino Valley neighborhoods are invited to join thousands of other communities nationwide on Tuesday, August 5 for the 31st Annual National Night Out. This marks Chino Valley's first participation in what is planned to be an annual event for the town.
National Night Out is sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch and locally by the Chino Valley Police Department.
Local businesses will be set up with information and products for citizens to view and discuss.
National Night Out is designed to: 1. Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness; 2. Generate support for, and participation in, local anti-crime efforts; 3. Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police community partnerships; and 4. Send a message to criminals letting them know neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
