The Renaissance Singers, a new choral group at Yavapai Community Concert, will make its debut performance in a concert at Trinity Presbytarian Church, 630 Park Ave, Prescott, 86301 on Saturday, November 21st at 7:00 pm. For its inaugural concert the Renaissance Singers will present music from England, Spain and Italy in a program entitled A Renaissance Sampler. The program includes a variety of a capella choral music from the 16th century. The program will feature the music of William Byrd, Thomas Tallis, Tomas Luis de Victoria and Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina. The polyphonic writing style of these Renaissance composers is sure to please regardless of the listener?s experience level.
