Guest speaker Lee W. Ester, Manager of Water Measurement for Salt River Project (SRP), will discuss streamflow monitoring using SRP?s new Flowtography technique. What is Flowtography? It is a simple, inexpensive way pioneered by SRP to remotely monitor streamflow, which uses time-lapse cameras and in-stream, visual staff gauges. Come hear how SRP is using this technique to monitor sections of streams and creeks in the Big Chino Sub-Basin in the Verde River Watershed. This is a free presentation and no RSVP is required.
