Upper Verde River: Value, Threats, and Protection
Presenter Gary Beverly, Chair of the Sierra Club Yavapai Group, has worked for 20 years to protect the Verde River, a jewel in the southwest. Little known and underappreciated, the Upper Verde River contains some of Arizona's best surviving riparian habitats. Many local conservation and governmental organizations support the Wild & Scenic Rivers pending status Register for this free public event to learn more about the value of the Upper Verde River. This program is Free and Open to the Public in person and via Zoom. Everyone is welcome.
