About Us

Central Arizona Writers: We are a group 80 of local authors and writers who share our writing knowledge with other writers and those aspiring to become writers. Formerly known, for the past 40 years, as The Professional Writers of Prescott, we changed our name to Central Arizona Writers in order to show a more accurate profile of who we represent. Our members, for the most part, reside in different areas throughout Yavapai county, including Chino Valley, Paulden, Prescott, Prescott Valley, Sedona, Clarkdale, Dewey, Humboldt. Our group has been providing free Literary Presentation in the County for the past 40 years. We currently offer Monthly Literary Presentation at the Prescott Public Library in their Founders Suite. (Capacity 110) We also offer several free 2-hour Saturday Workshops for writers at various locations throughout the county. Our mission is to share our writing skills with each other and other interested parties. We also provide free information on self-publishing and marketing.
